Aisha Mohammed powered First Bank into the semi final of the FIBA Africa Champions Cup for Women as the Nigerian champions defeated FAP Basketball 66-69 in a game typical of a slugfest.
Aisha posted 23 points and 7 rebounds alongside Nkem Akaraiwe 15pts 8rebs and Ginette Makiese 13pts 8rebs as the Elephants Girls continue on a fine streak of Ws at the championship.
The Nigerian side finished third last year, but there is a real belief they have a shot at the title.
