Stoke City’s POTY Etebo calls for unity in Eagles ahead Egypt 2019

Super Eagles midfielder and Stoke City player of the Season, Etebo Oghenekaro Peter has highlighted the need for proper preparation, and Unity in the Eagles team ahead of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

Peter Etebo Oghenekaro was one of the standout performers for Stoke this season and has also been called up by coach Gernot Rohr for the AFCON camping ahead of the Mundial next month.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Etebo also added that everyone involved must come together and do their part in ensuring the country does well in Egypt.
“If we want to do well in the Nations Cup, there has to be good preparation, from every angle, both from the side of the players as well as that of the coaches”.

The NFF has confirmed their last 25-man squad for Egypt where Gernot Rohr’s men will battle Guinea, Burundi, and Madagascar in Group B.
Shanghai Shenhua’s Odion Ighalo and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi will spearhead the Super Eagles’ effort in the North Africa country in June and July.
