Super Eagles: Alampasu declares ‘My time will Come’

20-year-old Dele Alampasu is certain his time in the Super Eagles will come despite every evidence pointing to the contrary at least in the foreseeable future.

Alampasu is yet to earn his senior team cap in a competitive fixture and was even overlooked by the national team selectors for the international friendly against Argentina.

The C.D. Feirense third choice goalie to Lawrence Maxwell [Brila FM] that he’ll keep working hard and remain optimistic even at his club where he is also lacking game time.

‘I’m not walking with my shoulders hung or my head down. Next month I’ll be 21, I’m young and I work hard and there’s nothing to suggest that I won’t get my time.

‘It’s hard for young goalkeeper’s to break into the first teams in Europe. In Nigeria even at 20 you still understudy older and players with more mileage in the game. I will be patient and wait for my opportunity.

‘I wish every other goal keeper in the Super Eagles well and believe our work will speak for its self,’ the former junior international expressed.
