Tyronne Ebuehi was named in the Ado Den Haag starting XI on Friday night against Excelsior, but the right back was withdrawn minutes to kick-off as his injury from the week before played up again.
Although his name appeared as a substitute during the game, Ebuehi was not available for selection and his side also went on to win 2-1 away from home.

Subsequently, in its match report the club also explained the decision to pull the Nigeria international out, moments before kick off.
Here’s an excerpt:
Fons Groenendijk knew the necessary personnel problems. Tom Beugelsdijk fell against NAC with a hamstring injury and is provisionally on the side. His place was taken by Nick Kuipers. Danny Bakker was lined up for the suspended Wilfried Kanon, leaving a spot for Donny Gorter in the midfield. Tyronne Ebuehi tried it in the warm-up, but was still injured to play with. Hennos Asmelash was his replacement.
The 22-year-old was invited for the international friendlies against Poland and Serbia, but with the new development, Super Eagles technical Adviser Gernot Rohr might have to make a late decision on the player.
