Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid has expressed his admiration for the Super Eagles’ preparations ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.
The national team’s training camp has been filled with enthusiasm, with videos of their sessions circulating on social media as new head coach Eric Chelle fine-tunes his squad for the qualifiers.

Reacting via his X handle on Wednesday, Wizkid praised the positive atmosphere surrounding the team under Chelle’s leadership.
“New Super Eagles team! Love the energy,” he tweeted.
The World Cup qualifier is set to take place at the Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda on Friday, March 21, at 5 PM Nigerian time.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles camp is now at full strength, with the arrival of Major League Soccer midfielder Alhassan Yusuf completing the 23-man roster.

Following the Rwanda clash, Nigeria will host Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25, in another must-win fixture.
