Super Eagles of Nigeria have been placed in Pot 2, ahead of the 2019 African Nations Cup draws which has been scheduled for April 12th, 2019.
Nigeria finished as Group E winner after beating Seychelles 3-1 in the last qualifying game at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Friday and mark their return to the tournament in style after missing out on the last two editions.
However, as the draw for the tournament proper gets closer, The Confederations of African Football released the teams that pots which teams are placed.
Nigeria are in pot 2 alongside Morocco, Algeria, DR Congo, Mali and Guinea.
Pot 1 consists of Egypt, Ghana, Tunisia, CIV, Cameroon and Senegal.
Pot 3 are Uganda, South Africa, Guinea Bissau, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Burundi.
While pot 4 consists: Mauritania, Namibia, Benin, Kenya, Madagascar, and Tanzania.
The main draw will on the 12th of April in Cairo Egypt.
