Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that no Super Eagles players and officials tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Federation made the confirmation through their official Twitter account on Friday, shortly before the game against Algeria.
The results of the test arrived a few hours before the game, and all the players and officials were given clean bills of health.
“All Super Eagles players and officials test negative to COVID 19 ahead of the game against Algeria,” NFF said.
Meanwhile, the players and officials could have another round of tests before facing the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles lost by a lone goal to Algeria on Friday.
