The Super Eagles have received a massive cash motivation to secure a win in their AFCON 2019 round of 16 fixture against Cameroon.

A cash reward of $25,000 has been pledged to the team for every goal scored by the same benefactor who did a similar gesture in 2017.

Nigeria defeated Cameroon 4-0 in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Uyo on their way to topping the group and reaching the competition.

So far, Nigeria have only scored two goals in the three group games played; struggling to create chances despite boasting a healthy attacking options in the team.
