The Super Eagles are in Monrovia, Liberia to face the Leone Stars in a matchday five fixture of Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

On Saturday, the Super Eagles departed Lagos to the venue of the game, and the 3-time African Champions need just a point to seal qualification to the tournament.

Currently second in Group A with nine points from four games, the team is a point adrift leaders Guinea Bissau.

Meanwhile, the last meeting between the West African neighbors ended 2-1 in the favor of Nigeria in Abuja.

Alex Iwobi’s 16th minute strike canceled out Jonathan Morsay’s opener (10′) for the Leone Stars, before Victor Osimhen got the winner in the 41st minute.

Jose Peseiro’s side will be aiming to do the double over their neighbors when they clash on Sunday at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium.
