Super Falcons are back to their base in Brisbane ahead of their next group match against Australia.

The Super Falcons departed Melbourne immediately after Friday’s game against Canada, and soon commenced preparations for the second game against the co-hosts.

Upon their arrival, the girls did some light work before hitting the gym as they began recovery from the keenly contested game against Canada.

The team have a great task ahead on Thursday as they face Australia, who themselves defeated Republic of Ireland 1-0 in the opening game.

Super Falcons will be without Deborah Abiodun for the game due to suspension, but Halimotu Ayinde is now ready to return.

Rasheedat Ajibade, who also missed the tie against the Ferns is expected to return for the clash against the Maltildas.
