Premier League side, Nottingham Forest will be without striker Taiwo Awoniyi for some part of the season.
Awoniyi is expected to be out for several months due to injury, according to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna.
“Awoniyi is injured for some months,” he wrote on Twitter.
The striker hasn’t played since the 1-0 win away at Southampton when he scored the winner.
His injury is a blow to Steve Cooper’s side hope of beating relegation this season.
Awoniyi, 25, has been crucial for the Reds in recent weeks, winning the man of the match award against Chelsea and Southampton.
With the £17.5m signing from Union Berlin sidelined, Emmanuel Dennis could get his chance game time.
