Lobi stars midfielder Tamara Ezekiel is delighted to scored his first professional goal of his career in Lobi Stars away win over Adamawa United in one of the match day twelve of the Nigeria professional football league.
The young and energetic midfielder bursted into the scene last season and was impressive all through, but the only thing missing from his game is goals.
However his solitary strike earned Lobi Stars all three points against newly promoted Adamawa United, something he’s happy about.
“I feel great to finally score my first career goal, because it has not been easy getting opportunity to play at top level in a team like Lobi Stars”, he told brila.net.
“My aim is to help the team win points and if I continue to have the opportunities of adding goals to my game , I won’t hesitate”.
An elated Ezekiel meanwhile dedicated the goal to his mother and his partner Victoria Iwuji.
“I just want to dedicate the goal to my mother and my partner, they have been part of my journey so far.” He said.
Ezekiel’s goal means Lobi Stars are tied with leaders Plateau United on 24 points from twelve matches.
