Opeyemi Ajakaye expects the Flamingos to go through to the quarter finals of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup at the expense of Chile.

Nigeria’s U17 Women’s NT, the Flamingos, will trade tackles against their Chilean counterparts in a crunch group match later today at the Kalinga Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ajakaiye stated that the team will give its best to ensure that the country book its place in the last eight.

“We will try our best to win the game, I see us winning by three goals.

“It won’t be easy, but I’m confident we will go through to the quarter finals,” She said.

Ajakaiye won the most valuable player of the match award in the 4-0 demolition of New Zealand.
