Flamingos attacker Bisola Mosaku is happy with the team’s qualification through to the quarter final at the ongoing FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
Mosaku was one of the goal as Nigeria pipped Chile 2-1 in the final group stage match to book their progress.
The 16-year-old stabbed home a ball from the corner to earn Bankole Olowookere’s side their quarter final spot.
The player however shared her joy over making the difference.
” I’m happy with our performance against Chile, It was a tough game , but we got the important,” the midfielder said.
Mosaku also revealed the reason behind her interesting celebration after scoring a goal.
” I’m excited to have scored a goal, especially with my birthday coming, and that was the reason behind my celebration.
The Flamingos will face the USA next, and Mosaku said, the team will be ready.
” We have to correct some mistake before the quarter finals and I’m sure we’ll be ready for it. By God’s grace we’ll qualify for the semi finals.” She concluded.
