U23 Afcon Qualifiers: Olympic Eagles depart for Tanzania

Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles have departed the country for Tanzania ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The team departed the shores of Nigeria, late Thursday night, via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The team coaches by Salisu Yusuf is expected in Dar Es Salaam, the venue of the first leg match, later today.

A contingent of 18 players and five officials left Lagos for the East African country.

The first leg of the second round AFCON U23 qualifiers is scheduled to take place on 22nd October in Tanzania with the return leg slated for Saturday, 29th October at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
