Coach of NPFL side and CAF Confederation cup campaigner Enugu Rangers Benedict Ugwu has stated that he was left satisfied after his fringe players got the job done in a 1-0 home win in the team’s first league home game against Sunshine stars.
Ugwu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team has shown what it has in depth because of the need to try out other players who haven’t been part of the team’s continental games so far and justifiably got the required win.
“I played most of my new players and some of them this is the major game they have played for us this season. Been the first match in the league in Enugu, some of them were jittery. We are still blending anyway.”
