Sadiq Umar continued his sterling form in the Spanish Segunda as he found the back of the net for Almeria in the game against Leganes on Wednesday.
Sadiq and his teammates lost 2-1 Leganes, who themselves paraded another Nigerian, Kenneth Omeruo.
The Young striker, with goal number 12 for the League season, drew first blood just eight minutes into the match.
Almeria went into the break with their noses in front, but the home side restored the parity through Borja Barton three minutes after the restart.
Omeruo scored a 95th minute winner, his first goal of the season.
Leganes are now 4th place on the log with 46 points while Almeria slipped to third place on 49 points.
