Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah has commended his team’s strong character following their 2-0 victory against Sunshine Stars in their matchday five clash.

The win, powered by Ahmed Musa’s brace, marked a return to winning ways for the four-time NPFL champions.

Abdallah expressed satisfaction with his players’ performance, highlighting their ability to regroup and bounce back after recent setbacks.

“I’m satisfied with how the players performed in the win over Sunshine Stars,” Abdallah told the club’s media. “It shows that we’re capable of regrouping and winning again.”

Despite it being early in the season, Abdallah is optimistic about his team’s continued improvement. He added, “It’s still early in the season, but I believe we’ll continue to improve.”

Kano Pillars will travel to Uyo for their next NPFL game against Akwa United as they look to build on their momentum.
