Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface has been named in the UEFA Europa League team of the season.

The Union Saint-Gilloise star, on Sunday, was among the eleven most outstanding stars in this season’s competition according to UEFA.

UEFA unveiled the team on their website, and the 22-year-old joined AS Roma star Paulo Dybala and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford in the attack.

Boniface scored six goals and provided one assist in 10 games for Union Saint-Gilloise in the competition.

Victor Boniface along with Rashford finished as the tournament’s joint top scorer with six goals, while Dybala had five for Roma.

Union Saint-Gilloise were eliminated in the quarter-final stage by Bayer Leverkusen.
