Villarreal slip up in UCL race, Share Points with Real Betis in La Liga Clash

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze was in action again for Villarreal in their 1-1 draw against Real Betis in Sunday’s La Liga game.

The Nigerian who has been in fine form lately was handed another start by coach Quique Setien, making it 24 times he has played in the league this season.

The wingers however has three goals and five assists to show for his efforts in those matches for the Yellow Submarines.

Against Real Betis, he played the entire minutes and attempted two shots, created two chances and completed three dribbles.

Real Betis drew the first blood in the 38th minute through Borja Iglesias, before Yeremi Pino restored parity in the 55th minute for Villarreal.

The teams left the pitch with points shared after failing to find the winner.

The draw leaves Villarreal sits 6th with 38 points, four points adrift of Real Betis who remain 5th.
