Former Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama’s son, Godswill Enyeama, has embarked on his professional football journey by signing his first contract with Ligue 1 club Lille.

Enyeama proudly shared the news on his Facebook page, writing, “God is the greatest. Home sweet home. Back home in a different skin.”

The former Nigeria International himself enjoyed a successful seven-year stint with Lille, during which he made 143 league appearances.

Now, his son has been promoted to Lille’s U-18 side, aiming to follow in his father’s footsteps and eventually play for the first team.

Vincent Enyeama captained the Super Eagles to victory in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and is widely regarded as Nigeria’s greatest goalkeeper, having also represented the country in multiple FIFA World Cups.
