Super Eagles stars William Troost-Ekong, Oghenekaro Etebo, and Emmanuel Dennis were in action for Watford against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup tie on Tuesday.
While Troost-Ekong and Etebo played the entire minutes of the game, Emmanuel Dennis came as a second-half substitute.
The former Club Brugge forward was introduce by Coach Munoz Xisco in the 46th minute for Josh King.
Ashley Fletcher scored the only goal of the game in the 84th minute.
After the match, coach Munos Xisco said, the players had put in a well-balanced performance.
“The most important today in the game was that we had very good order,” said Munoz.
“Always we had the good distance in the lines, always I think we understood what was happening in the game. We know that in front we had very difficult situations sometimes. But most important was that we gave this balance.
“In the last two games, we received a lot of goals. I think today we had this balance and didn’t receive any.
“We had two or three chances in the game, but it’s important to have patience and wait for the moment to take our chance.” He said.
