Interim head coach of relegated side Niger Tornadoes Hamza Abara says he is not disheartened his side would campaign in the second tier of club football in Nigeria next season.

Abara told www.brila.net that their experience so far came with valuable lessons which would come in handy when they start the journey to return to the top flight.
“It is an experience we will learn from. I’m not surprised this has happened but we can’t do anything now than to see it as an experience we should learn from.
The damage has already been done, now we must look forward and see where we go from there.”
Tornadoes lost 0-2 to Enyimba in Aba on Monday, a result which confirmed their relegation to the Nigeria National League(NNL).
Niger Tornadoes’ last game in the NPFL on Sunday will be against relegation-threatened Kwara United in Minna.
