Super Eagles of Nigeria and Granada of Spain star Ramon Azeez, said playing in the Spanish league and improved him as a player.
Azeez moved to Spain, shortly after Captaining Nigeria Golden Eaglets to a second-place finish in 2009 FIFA under 17 world cup.
The Former Almeria defensive midfielder has spent nine Spain and he believes the league is different from other leagues and helped players develop technical aspects of the game.
“The football there (in Spain) is very different from other leagues, we don’t run as much in Spain, we allow football to do the running on the pitch and that makes it different. You have to use your brain more here.”
The former Almeria of Spain midfielder added that players who develop in Spain can easily cope with the demands and intensity of other leagues across Europe.
“If you can play in the Spanish league, then you can fit in any league across the world, you only need to work on a few things and you are good to go.” He concluded.
