Yira Sor has to adapt tactically — Vrancken

Yira Sor played his third game for Genk in the Belgian Jupiler league on Tuesday and head coach Wouter Vrancken believes has to improve.

Sor was back on bench for the away trip to Westerloo, three days after his match winner against Zulte Waregem.

The former Flying Eagles star came on in the second half, but failed to impress as Genk laboured to 3-2 win.

“There is an incredible growth margin, although he still needs an adjustment period to be tactically fully in line with our principles,” Vrancken stressed.

“You saw that occasionally where he should have passed, but that is also the most normal thing in the world.

“Apart from ten minutes that we kept open especially for him, he has barely been able to train tactically with us,” the KRC Genk Coach said, according to voetbalkrant.com.

Sor, 22, signed for Genk from Slavia Prague this January for a fee in the region of €6.5million.
