Aribo immense for Rangers, Says Steven Gerrard

Rangers Manager Steven Gerrard has disclosed that Joe Aribo is important to his team’s organization at the moment.

Aribo, 24, missed about four matches this season, due to injuries and has scored four goals in 14 league outings for Rangers.

The Midfielder also featured in the Gers’s 2-0 win at St Mirren on Wednesday afternoon and contributed greatly to the team at both end of the pitch.

Gerrard told the club’s official website that the Super Eagles midfielder had good impact in his team, same as the goalscorers.

“In-terms of our style, it probably wasn’t there for the majority of the game. I thought it was really patchy, but there were a lot of positives to take away.

“Both number nines have scored a goal, I thought Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara were immense, and we have kept another clean sheet, so in the main, we are happy and we move into the weekend in a good place.”

Rangers are unbeaten in the Scottish premier league this season, they have also kept 17 clean sheet from 21 league games.

Aribo and his mates are expected to extend the records when they take City rival Celtic on Saturday.
