Super Eagles and Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi has backed the Nigeria Super Eagles to clinch her 4th African Cup of Nations title in Egypt.
Awoniyi in a chat with brila.net said that the current Eagles squad have the quality of players capable of winning the tournament.
”I once came across Ahmed Musa and Abdullahi Shehu and jokingly told them this time around the super eagles will win the nation’s cup ” he said.
With the backing of the Liverpool forward, the Super Eagles are favourite to top the group B and will be set to fight for her 4th Afcon trophy after winning the third in 2013.
