Odion Ighalo was on parade for Manchester as they thrashed Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday to keep UEFA Champions league qualifications hope alive.
Ighalo who has scored five goals in four starts for his boyhood club Came on as a second-half substitute for Anthony Martial but was on able to break his premier league duck for the club.
The former Watford star has now made seven premier league substitute appearances for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, but all his goals have come in cup games.
Ighalo’s fellow January signing, Bruno Fernandes scored twice on the night and youngster Mason Greenwood scored the other goal as United extended their unbeaten run to 15 games.
United are fifth on the log, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, their opponent in the FA Cup semi-final later this month.
