Ilechukwu highlights how League broadcasts has helped Heartland

Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Heartland FC Fidelis Ilechukwu has highlighted how playing in selected Live league broadcasts games have helped his team after revealing that he challenged his players to defend themselves as Footballers in the recent games played by doing well or otherwise in front of the camera.

Ilechukwu speaking in a chat with brila.net after his side’s 2-1 win over Dakada FC said that he has been impressed with how the players have responded to the challenge and done so with a renewed sense of motivation.

He also added that things have since changed and he hopes that the players continue the food form that has seen the team unbeaten in the last five league games after a poor start to the season.

“The boys are motivated and they are determined because I told them they are playing for themselves it’s your career. And playing in live matches has a lot to do with your life because it’s you they will show there. So I want people to put all the challenges behind you and show what you can do as a player. These are the things I told them and they understand and when you have few matured players around you they will know how to manage the situation.”
