Sone Aluko is making a switch to Chinese league

Former Super Eagles, Reading, and  Hull City forward Sone Aluko is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to China this week.

According to Hull Live’, Aluko has traveled to China ahead of penning a deal with Chinese Super League outfit Beijing Renhe.

Aluko has failed to impress since joining the Royals in summer 2017 for a club-record fee of £7.5million, scoring just three league goals and as a result, despite the Royals battling against relegation from the Championship, they are willing to let him leave this week.

The report claims Aluko has been granted a Visa and will meet up with new teammates before the 2019 season gets underway on Friday, March 1.

Aluko spent four years in East Yorkshire, joining on a free transfer following his release from Rangers and helped the club towards two promotions to the Premier League.

However, he was eventually released in 2016 after struggling for form and starting just eight league games in his final season in black and amber and he joined up with Fulham.
