Super Falcons captain and veteran, Rita Chikwelu admits the battle for places in the final 21 player list for the 2018 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is tough and it’s an indication of the quality Nigeria will present.
Nigeria is the defending champion and with only a matter of weeks to the competition, Chikwelu insists the Falcons are in good stead to conquer Ghana.
The Falcons have won 8 of the 10 editions of the competition, but they are taking nothing for granted even with the favorite tag, the captain told Brila.net.
‘The Super Falcons are ready for the challenge,’ the midfielder confirmed.
