Nigeria will have a good team heading into the world cup however the team lacks in depth according to former Super Eagles Coach, Augustine Eguavoen.
The three-time African champion will make a 6th world cup appearance in Russia and Eguavoen told Brila.net that he expects the team will do well.
Thirty players will jostle for Nigeria’s final 23-man list to the FIFA World Cup 2018 where Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr is likely to present the youngest squad heading to the tournament.
‘I like the composition of the team and I am excited about the prospect of these players. Surely, we can pick the best team for this world cup because we have that quality.
‘I believe Nigeria will have a good team going to the world cup, however, I fear there could be a problem in the depth of that quality as a team.’
