Stephen Eze has confirmed he is one of five players dropped from the Super Eagles provisional list and also shared the kind words of the Gaffer as he broke the news to him.
Eze broke the news on his social media page and also confirmed to Brila FM in a telephone interview.

The defender said the Eagles Boss shared comforting and soothing words to encourage him after he broke the news.
‘He’s a nice coach. If he didn’t rate me, I probably wouldn’t have made his team.
‘He said a lot of good things and asked that I should not be upset because of the news. This will strengthen my resolve to work even harded.’
25 Players will travel to England where the Super Eagles will continue their World Cup preparation with a friendly against the Three Lions before heading to their camp in Austria.
