The Super Falcons are off to Australia ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The team this Sunday departed Abuja for Australia after a sendforth dinner organized by the Nigeria Football Federation in collaboration with Australia High Commission.
The Randy Waldrum’s team will have a 15-day training camp in Australia where they’ll play some test matches before their opening game against Canada 21 July.
The team will be aiming for better outing as they are is one out of only seven national teams that have featured in each of the competitions since it debuted in 1991.
The Falcons will face Canada, Australia and debutants Republic of Ireland in the Group phase.
