Trabzonspor are already thinking about signing a replacement for Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu.

Onuachu’s loan stint with the club is gradually coming to an end and Trabzonspor are finding it difficult to reach an agreement with his parent club regarding a transfer fee.

Negotiations for Onuachu’s permanent transfer have hit a snag due to Southampton’s high transfer demands, reportedly exceeding 10 million Euros, as reported by Fanatik.

Trabzonspor is now looking at alternatives to strengthen their attacking line-up, with Spanish striker Hector Hernandez emerging as a frontrunner.

Onuachu remains under contract with Southampton until the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season.

Onuachu’s time at Trabzonspor has been marked by notable performances, with nine goals and three assists in seventeen appearances.
