Nigerian Midfielder Anderson Edit, had revealed the main reason why he decided to sign the dotted lines for the modest Greek outfit, stating that fans of the club were a major factor in his decision.
Esiti, who was brought in from KAA Gent of Belgium where he played for so many seasons, is hoping to quickly adapt and fit into his new surroundings with consumate ease ahead of the new season.
Speaking to www.brila.net, the hard tackling midfield man further disclosed that he is already feeling at home due to the warm reception from his new team mates, one of which is fellow Nigerian player, Chuba Akpom. He also added that he is looking forward to giving his best for his new clubside.
“After the game I played against them in Holland, that was two years ago, I received a lot of messaged on Instagram – fans telling me and urging me to come over to PAOK, it was so many”.
“So when they called and indicated their interest. I told my agent it’s a club I want to play for”.
“Coming here, it’s a great feeling. My new team mates really welcomed me, and am looking forward to giving my best”.
