Former Super Eagles player Mutiu Adepoju has predicted a highly competitive future for the Nigerian Super Eagles squad post-COVID-19.
Adepoju told brila.net in a chat that with the current state of things, the competition in the Eagles squad will be massive post coronavirus.
“Currently, a good number of our boys are doing well at their clubs, they are getting playing time weekly and it is really a good thing for the Eagles,”
“I think it’s a good thing and this is how it ought to be,’ Adepoju said.
“If all the players are doing fine in their clubs, playing week in, week out, it is good for the Super Eagles when and the competition for places will be high whenever there’s a national duty,”
Nigerian players like Samuel Chukwueze, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Nwakaeme, amongst others have been in some top form since the return of football in Europe.
