Enyimba goalkeeper Theophilus Affelokhai has praised Enugu Rangers for taking initiative in honouring late striker Ifeanyi George.
Ifeanyi George died in a car crash a few days into the COvid19 lockdown on his way to Lagos after the Professional league in Nigeria has been suspended.
In a chat with brila.net Affelokhai stated that it will be a great idea if most clubs in the Nigerian League follow or emulate the Rangers example.
”I was so surprised when I heard about the idea which is very good, it will make some players wake up and whatever happens to them they will know that the club will back them up, and if other clubs can follow their footsteps honestly, it will go a long way for the league and I pray Rangers finishes what they have started.”
