Ahmed Musa keeps promise – releases N4m for U23 Eagles after Libya bashing

Super Eagles Vice Captain Ahmed Musa is said to have paid the bonus he promised the Dream team for each goal scored when they face their Libyan counterparts in Asaba.

 

Media officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye confirmed this situation shortly after the Imama-led team thumped Libya 4-0 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Delta state on Monday.

 

The Imama Amapakabo tutored team lost the first leg 2-0 last week and remarkable comeback is needed if they are to reach the CAF U-23 AFCON in Egypt, which is the qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.

 

In a bid to motivate the team , Musa who visited the team on Saturday, promised to pay the boys a million naira for each goal scored against the Libyans. 

 

It is now confirmed that the Former Leicester City forward has fulfilled his promise to the team.
