Akpoguma bags assist as Hoffenheim ran riot against Koln

Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Kevin Akpoguma was on parade and bagged an assist for Hoffenheim against Koln on Friday night.

 

Akpoguma started the match and he played important role in Hoffenheim’s 5-0 home League victory over FC Koln in German Bundesliga game.

 

Coach Sebastian Hoeness paired the former Hannover 96 defender with Pavel Kaderabek, Stefan Posch, and David Raum and it proved to be a good decision as Hoffenheim looked solid at the back all night.

 

Ihlas Bebou opened the scoring for Hoffenheim in the 31st minute through an assist from Croatian star Andrej Kramaric.

 

The Togolese forward doubled the lead in the 49th minute, thanks to an assist from Kevin Akpoguma.

 

Christoph Baumgartner made it 3-0 in the 51st minutes, before Dennis Geiger and Stefan Posch scored in the 76th and 87th minutes to complete the rout.

 

The victory moves Hoffenheim to the 8th spot with 11 points after 8 rounds of matches.
