Super Falcons defender, Michelle Alozie has firmly declared her commitment to the National Women’s Soccer League team, Houston Dash.

The full back has been linked with a move away from Houston Dash, and several names have come up as possible destinations, in the last few weeks.

Alozie however dismisses any consideration of a move to Europe in the near future.

“I’m just really focused on the season ahead with the Houston Dash and I’m really excited about it.

“That’s really all I’m focusing on, other things happening in the future; we just have to wait and see but right now I’m just focused on the NWSL,” Alozie said during Asisat Oshoala’s all-star event in Lagos.

The 26-year-old enjoyed standout performances in 2023, including a notable role in Nigeria’s Women’s World Cup campaign.

Since joining them in 2021, Alozie has scored six goals in 31 appearances.
