Former Tanzania Chief coach Emmanuel Amunike has offered advice to local coaches in Nigeria on hard work, discipline, and satisfaction in order to attain greatness in their chosen career.
Amunike told brila.net exclusively that he is in a position to share his experience and advice to fellow coaches and players who desire to climb up the ladder of success in the game of football.
“I think I am in a position to advice fellow coaches, we need to be very ambitious and with a never-satisfied attitude, we can get the job done.
”For me, I’m an ambitious coach, I’m not praising myself, I never get satisfied with what I’m doing because I need the result” the former Barca star told brila.net.
”Players that played under my instructions during their youth days can attest to that, I always believe in one thing, where you earn should not be taken for granted’.
”The coaching job is on the pitch of play, everyone sees what we have been working on and it’s not hidden”,
“Coaching is not a job that appears on the pages of a newspaper, It’s what we all see on the pitch, with dedication and hard work, time will position you on where you want to be with the help of God. ” Amunike concluded.
