Another Big Night for D’Tigers Prospect Bam Adebayo in Heats Win

Femi “Bam” Adebayo got 34 minutes on the floor and made it count posting a double double in Miami Heat’s fifth straight win on home court when they came up against the Pelicans on Saturday night.

Adebayo dropped 18 points and 14 rebounds, following up on a similar performance in the W against Pistons on game night four days ago.

Heat bossed the first quarter winning with a 7 points (29-22) margin, and were up 54-49 by half time.

The team cruised in the third and fourth quarters (24-16, 31-29), wrapping up a 109-94 win to improve their form in the East to 9-3; third in the standing.

Adebayo, who was a starter last season has continued to be a big part of Erik Spoelstra’s plans in a Dwayne Wade-less side, but they’ve got Jimmy Butler.

The Forward said about his performance after the game,”Am just trying to get the team winning and trying to impact winning that’s what it’s all about.

“My teammates have got my back like I’ve got theirs.”

Born in New Jersey, the 22 year-old 2017 14th overall draft pick is eligible to suit up for either the USBMNT or Nigeria’s D’Tigers.
