World Heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has finally presented his championship belts to Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari.
Joshua, in a private meeting with the president and top government officials in London, officially presented the belts, thanked them and stated that he never forgot his roots.
Interestingly, Joshua proved he is is more a Nigerian than anybody could think as he prostrated for the president before handing his heavyweight belts to him.
Joshua won on unanimous decision to reclaim his heavyweight belts and he will be defending the belt against Bulgarian fighter Kubrat Pulev in May.
Other top personalities who received the Nigerian-born pugilist include Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) and Nìyí Adebayo, minister of industry, trade and investment.
