Nigerian midfielder, Afeez Aremu trained with his team, St Pauli of Germany for the first time on Thursday.
Aremu who signed for the German Bundesliga II on Wednesday joined up with the rest of the squad for their in pre-season training camp.
The Flying Eagles midfielder revealed via his social media handle that he’s excited to practice with the team for the first time.
“First training session with the team @fcstpauli” he posted on Twitter.
The former Akwa United midfielder moved to Germany’s lower division after a spell in Norway with IK Start.
The 20-year-old who penned a three-year contract is now expected to help secure promotion back to the German top-flight division next season.
