Super Eagles Midfielder Joe Aribo is buzzing after scoring his first Premier League goal on Saturday.
Aribo scored one of the goals as the Saint played out a 2-2 draw against Leeds United at home.
Southampton was trailing 2-0, by the time Aribo was introduced into the game and he reduced the deficit for his side before Kyle Walkers Peters grabbed the late equalizer.
“I’m buzzing I was able to leave my impact on the game,” Aribo told BBC Sport.
“I’m happy I was able to help the team fight back.
“I think the fans stayed behind us even when it got to 2-0. Surprised I got my first Premier League goal with my right foot.” He concluded.
Aribo has now featured in Southampton’s two league games so far this season.
