KRC Genk forward, Tolu Arokodare has credited manager Wouter Vrancken for their smooth relationship.
Arokodare joined Genk in January as replacement for Paul Onuachu who left for Southampton.
The forward, however, has endured a tough start to life in the Belgian League as he missed almost three months of action due to injury.
Despite the difficult time, the 22 year-old revealed he has a very special relationship with his coach.
“I don’t really see him as a coach. To me he is more than that; a good friend, a big brother and a father at the same time.
The former Amiens striker has just one goal in nine matches for the Limburgers.
Arokodare however revealed, the coach is patient with him, which what makes his case unique.
“He lets players be themselves and manages the dressing room very well. His explanations are always clear and concise.
“I have never worked with a trainer like him in my career. He is great,” He said.
