Aruna Quadri Through to WTT Smash Quarter finals

Aruna Quadri continues his great form at the ongoing WTT Smash as he defeated Japanese star and World no. 4 Tomokazu Harimoto in their round of 16 tie on Wednesday morning.

Quadri beat the Japanese teenager in straight games to proceed into the quarter-finals of the competition.

He made light work of the highly rated star, beating him 3-0 (11-7, 13-11, 11-7).

It is Quadri’s first win over Harimoto after tasting defeat in their two previous meetings.

The African number one will now play the winner between Hugo Calderano and Darko Jorgic on Friday.
