Super Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez was on for 90 minutes in Granada’s 1-0 victory over Real Betis in Sunday’s Spanish La liga Satander.
The Andalusian club moved up from sixth to top with 20 points from 10 games , following the postponements of the league El- classico.
Alvaro Vadillo netted the only goal of the game game, after a perfect pass from Carlos Fernandez.
Granada are one point above Champions Barcelona who could return to the top of the log on Tuesday if they beat Real Valladolid.
Azeez has been impressive for the newly promoted Granada this season, and his good form earned him a return back to the national team fold in October, for the first time since 2014.
Azeez has scored twice for Granada in ten league matches this season.
