Nasarawa United boss Bala Nikyu said he’s delighted with the performance of his wards against Lobi Stars after the unlucky defeat to MFM FC.
Ikenna Ofor’s 49th minute goal was enough to secure the maximum points for Nasarawa United at the Lafia township stadium on Sunday.
The victory helped Nikyu’s side came immediately after their fruitless trip to Lagos where they were narrowly edged by MFM FC.
Speaking to the media after the match, Bala Nikyu said he’s excited with how his boys reacted to the painful positively to the defeat to MFM FC and underlined how important it was to get back to winning ways after the defeat.
“Well we lost MFM like you rightly said, but the defeat was was gallant one because we played well and so we don’t have any regrets, said the Coach.
“If we didn’t we did not do well, we would have been wondering what e didn’t do right, but that wasn’t the case.
“As for the match against Lobi Stars , we needed good reactions in order to get maximum points which we did.
” We also know that away games are always difficult, but we will fight for another points on the road.”
